Terryson Jackson Memorial Golf Tournament

On August 28th 2023, a beloved member of the Broward Sheriff Office Department of Fire Rescue, Chief Jackson responded to his last alarm when his life was cut short in a tragic helicopter crash. Chief Jackson began his career in 2004 with Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue and later joined Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Fire Rescue. Chief Jackson exemplified bravery, selflessness and unwavering dedication to his community. Chief Jackson has impacted countless lives.

Terryson Jackson had a passion for the game of golf. He competed in multiple golf tournaments including the Sheriff’s Cup, firefighter games and with his friends on the weekends. The annual golf tournament hosted by the Broward Firefighters Benevolent was renamed the Terryson Jackson Charity Golf Tournament to honor Jackson’s legacy.

Terryson Jackson Memorial Golf Tournament

 The purpose of this donation campaign is to fund the construction of The Deerfield Beach Fallen Firefighter Memorial and our goal is to raise $500,000.00. The memorial will be located at 1441 SW 11th Way, in Deerfield Beach (BSO Fire Station 102) and will emphasize the career of Chief Terryson Jackson.
